From A Farm to Finances

Growing up on her family’s farm in Nebraska, even from a young age Loral was never content to simply sit back, becoming part of the small-town status quo. Loral began her career working with the Chevron Corporation right out of college. But, it was clear to her early on that there was more to life than cubicles and trading her time for dollars. Despite her own fears and hesitation from friends and family, Loral quit her job to become an executive coach. Virtually overnight, Loral quintupled her income, while working much less. With her newfound freedom of time and accumulation of wealth, she founded Live Out Loud, Inc.

Loral has been a partner or sole owner in well over one hundred for-profit and non-profit businesses since she started her first business while still attending high school. She has operated successful businesses in a wide variety of sectors including real estate, gas and oil, restaurants, marketing, sales, insurance, cannabis, publishing and entity formation, among many others. She has learned many valuable, first-hand business lessons during her more than 30 years of business ownership including the importance of clearly defined departments such as marketing, sales, accounting, customer service and fulfillment. She hiring amazing, qualified team members and setting clearly defined expectations is paramount to operating a successful business.

Today, she and her team work diligently to teach people how money matters and how they, too, can take their seats at The Big Table, as she did. She passionate encourages and facilitates conversations around money, often shifting perspectives and helping to increase people’s livelihoods.

Charity, Legacy, & Community Work

Loral has operated in 6 out of 7 continents with most of her charitable work dedicated to children and military members. On a volunteer basis, her efforts include teaching financial literacy at the middle, high school and college level as well as speaking on the topic of entrepreneurial education at several Air Force and Naval bases across the country.

Through her business, Live Out Loud, she has provided free financial education on fundraising via her mentorship programs, to hundreds of children by providing scholarships of well over $3,000,000 over the past 15 years. Additionally, having earned a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, she was the driving force behind a $240,000 initiative to raise capital to rebuild the strength and conditioning program at South Lake Tahoe High School, including the hiring of an experienced athletic trainer for the student athletes.

Loral has also worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs to offer continuing financial education to both active duty and retired military personnel. She created the Serve Out Loud initiative in 2010 to support and mentor veteran-owned small businesses. By providing business resources aimed at arming U.S. vets with the tools they need to start their own businesses she believes they will see that the skills, knowledge and experiences they gained from their service can actually work for them to achieve their goal of becoming financial independent. Loral continues to offer substantial discounts to all military members to attend her business training and mentorship programs.

Leaving a meaningful legacy is something extremely important to Loral. She is a frequent donor to charitable groups including The Boys and Girls Club of America, The Lake Tahoe Bear League, An Empowered Woman Foundation, Life School and Family Resource Centers. She has developed special programs for women and children and, in 2012, raised $40,000 for the founder of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She also runs Serve Out Loud, a program aimed at providing discounted education in financial literacy to United States Veterans.

In addition to the numerous for-profit businesses Loral has owned she has also founded or participated in several non-profit businesses. In 2007 she became a partner in Give Out Loud, a non-profit primarily focused on providing financial and business education to children and the underprivileged. Give Out Loud was dedicated to finding creative ways to blend corporate capitalism with social giving. In 2002 she became an advisory board member of the non-profit business, Life School (now known as Go Adventure). Through her mentorship, the Life School founders were able to generate business income and become less reliant on donors, which allowed them to reach even more at-risk youths. In addition to her time and business expertise, she was the primary donor to Life School for the first 10 years of its existence.

A Leader In Her Field

Loral is truly dedicated to helping men and women, from all walks of life, to become millionaires AND be able to enjoy time with their families.

She is living proof that anyone can have the life of their dreams through hard work, persistence, and getting things done in the face of opposition. As a single mother of two children, she is redefining the possibility for women to have it all and raise their children in an entrepreneurial and financially literate environment.
